WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Daily reconciliation of Bank and General Ledger accounts.

    Posting of journal entries.

    Investigate and resolve reconciliation items.

    Monthly financial closing process and reporting.

    Petty cash processing.

    Assisting with audit queries.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    A problem solver with good administrative and numerical skills.

    Someone that pays attention to detail and is determined to meet monthly and annual deadlines.

    Excellent planning, organizing and time management.

    Someone with ethical standards that can perform well under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.

    National Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Finance Degree would be an advantage.

    Minimum 3 years Accounting experience in the Retail industry.

    Knowledge of the Kerridge system will be an added advantage.

    Advanced MS Excel skills required.
